Autonomous Robots and ROS
ROS (Robot Operating System) is a set of software components that are often used in research in autonomous systems.

ROS (Robot Operating System) is a set of software components that are often used in research in autonomous systems. In short, ROS handles communication between different platforms, sensors and actuators as well as visualization, simulation and logging of data. In ROS, it is also easy to share your own methods and algorithms, which has meant that there is a larger amount of research results implemented which can be used directly. ROS has also started to be used in industry, mainly in R&D. This course gives you the opportunity to use and apply ROS in an area you want.
The course has three compulsory half-day meetings at Örebro University.
